Spring 2009
Welcome to the website for Elektrik Effekts. Please feel free to browse our past work and don´t hesitate to get in touch.

A busy Spring with work on Regnskap & NMCU Commercial for Paradox. We have also produce our first stunt mask using a new system of sprayable plastic. We hope this can provide productions with a low cost alternative to prosthetic makeups when matching stunt performers to the actors they portray.

Our custom designed makeup trailer also went out for the first time this year for 4&1/2 Vegvessen safety commercial and we are keen for other production companies to know about its availability.

We will be updating our site with pictures of this and all our recent work very soon.

Best regards og med vennlig hilsen

Rick & Anja

Seasonal Greetings to all our friends and customers.

2008 has been another great year for us and we would like to thank all those that brought us on to help with their projects. We had many successes with established clients and were extremely happy to connect with some new friends.

From safe weapons for Død Sno to animatronic Knertens for Paradox it really has been fantastic to be involved with some great films and keep our now fully functioning workshop busy all year.

We will try to update our site with all the recent work asap, but in the meantime please feel free to browse and don't hesitate to get in contact for further information.

Our best wishes for the New Year

Rick & Anja

Roll On Summer!
The year continues to be busy with the end of Engelen for Anja and the beginning of another project for Paradox in sight. Since the last news update we had great fun delivering two very unusual props.

The first was a scale model of The Ark of the Covenant for The History Channel & Wild Dream Films. A trip into the bowels of Oslo University's physics department led to the mind blowing moment when our model actually levitated in free air!

The next was for Paradox production's "Fatso". Still want to keep quiet about exactly what this was. We feel it best to be seen on the big screen first before letting the cat out of the bag ... or the pussy!

Looking forward to the release of "De Usynlige" in September.

Busy start to 2008
First off, huge thanks to Garry and Alex at Screenset Design for getting this site up and running. All works perfectly; soap, flash frames and chemical burns all a-ok!

Anyhow, it wasn't until February that we opened the workshop this year after taking a chance on a quiet January and running off for a sneaky family holiday in Thailand.

But since we've been back we have already delivered a TV news desk to TVNorge, made safe weapons for the new Norwegian zombie movie Rød Sno and joined Pål Morten's SFX crew shooting a battle sequence for Max Manus.

It looks like Anja will be starting on Margret Olin's new film in April and we may have some work with The History Channel building a model of a famous ancient relic.

There is also an animatronic commission from Paradox ... but more of that later as it's ... er ... hard to describe!
